Tom, Anakin, and Peter. All three powerful in their own right, and all three, now, asking for her help and teaching in order to learn better control, that they might better resist the Shadow... and all three on the same day.
If Elaida knew she had even considered it, she would see Moiraine stilled or dead, more than likely, both for revealing the methods and for teaching men. Not that such considerations had ever stopped Moiraine before; certainly not the concerns of the Red Ajah against men, which were outdated in any case, and not for the methods, either. No true secrets of the Tower would be told, in any case... and Moiraine has done what was necessary, before.
"If Rand had been there, or Mat, I would suspect the influence of ta'veren. But neither of them were present."
She stops and remains still, thinking.
"Certainly, it might be done, I believe. I am not teaching them the way of their own power; I could not do that. I can, however, teach as I was taught, although it may be dangerous... more for me than for them, should tempers rise and my defenses fail."
Moiraine laughs, ruefully. In her world, men are often stronger in Power than women. It has not proven so here, yet, but she cannot discount the possibility. Nor can she ignore the fact that the methods themselves may cause bitterness among those who think kindly of her now.
"The Wheel weaves. The risk is worth it, if by so doing this can strengthen the worlds against the Shadow. If I cannot return home to fight against it, then I shall do what may be done here for the cause of Light."
